Note
These notes are based on my experiences with the Prusa i3 Mk3 and Artillery/Evnovo Sidewinder X1 printers. If you are using a different printer, please verify the hardware details are similar.

Complete plater tab documentation
The Plater
tab is where you’ll add, manipulate and remove parts for printing. From this page you can select for print, filament and printer profiles. On initial startup, you’re presented with an empty bed and a default set of profile selections.

Adding parts
There are multiple methods of adding parts to a print. The simples is simply to use drag & drop to place one or more parts on the bed. You can also use the File->Import->Import STL/OBJ/AMF/3MF...
menu option to browse for appropriate files.

Adding parts
Once you’ve added one or more parts, they’re automatically placed on the bed.

Initial part placement
If one or more parts are overlapping, you can automatically arrange parts by:
Pressing the
Arrange
icon at the top of the screen (4th from left).Pressing the
A
key to automatically arrange all parts.Pressing the
[Shift]+A
key combination to automatically arrange only selected parts.
